Equality

The services offered by the Abano Terme General Hospital are based on the principles of each individual patient's rights and duties.

The rules imposed by the Abano Terme General Hospital regarding patients and access to the hospital's services are equal for everyone.

No distinctions are made when providing care in regards to one's sex, race, language, religion, or political point of views.

Equality is meant to be against discrimination in all its forms: in particular the hospital takes all necessary measures to enable the use of its facilities by persons with physical handicaps.

Impartiality

By applying the operational guidelines set forth by the hospital, the staff's behavior is governed by criteria of objectivity, justice, and impartiality.

Continuity

Service continuity is guaranteed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by a set of precise rules put in place by the hospital.

The Right to Choose

The patient has the right to freely choose, outside any moral or material boundaries, to utilize the services within the structural, technological, or professional limits of the hospital.

Participation

The patient may make verbal or written comments to the managerial staff (Head of the ward, charge nurse,  head of the outpatient service, medical director, general manager) regarding any observations or complaints they might have.

The hospital staff are required to take into account all reports made by patients.

The hospital is committed to using a comments and complaints system (anonymous when necessary) to evaluate and improve the quality of the services delivered.

Efficiency and Efficacy

The hospital's services are organized in such a way as to guarantee efficiency and efficacy in  day-to-day operations.

This means that the organization  is geared towards maximum functionality while always keeping the patient's various needs in mind.
