Instructions when Being Hospitalized

When being hospitalized it is necessary to bring:

Personal Documents

• National Health Service Card
• Valid Identification
• Codice Fiscale

Personal Effects

• Bath Towels
• Toothbrush
• Pajamas
• Slippers
• Underwear

It is also important, once hospitalized, to check in with the charge nurse for any eventual indications or instructions to be followed for your treatment.

What not to Bring

• Alcoholic beverages: as they can interfere with treatments
• Medicines: it will be the treating doctor who decided what and when to administer and the hospital will supply the medicine.
• Money and precious objects
