ENT Surgery

The otolaryngologist (Ear-Nose-Throat) is in charge of diagnosing and treating the principal pathologies of the ear, nose, paranasal sinuses, oral cavity, and the larynx. ENT surgery is normally done on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning in the operating block on the first floor of the hospital. The operations can be done only after visiting an ENT specialist from the department. Some diseases can be treated in outpatient day surgery, whereas, if hospitalization is needed, it is done in the General Surgery Ward.
